JCB collided with wall during cleaning of drain in Kanti Nagar, Krishna Nagar of Shahdara district

New Delhi. In Kanti Nagar located in Krishna Nagar of Shahdara district, the wall collapsed while removing silt (silt) from the drain on Monday morning. In the accident, the rickshaw driver came under the debris of the wall. He died on the spot. The deceased has been identified as Mithlesh alias Rishi (40), a resident of Sitapur, UP.
In fact, for cleaning the drain in Kanti Nagar, silt was being removed with the help of JCB. Meanwhile, by mistake the driver hit the JCB’s paw on the wall. After which a large part of the wall fell. At that time, Mithlesh was waiting for a shave by putting it on the side of the rickshaw. He got hit by debris. Krishna Nagar police station registered a case of death due to negligence and arrested the accused driver Rajesh. JCB has also been taken into custody. Apart from interrogating eyewitnesses, the police is probing the matter with the help of CCTV cameras installed nearby. According to the police, there is a drain of the Irrigation and Flood Control Department of Delhi Government in Kanti Nagar area. At present, the government is getting the drains cleaned before the monsoon. On Monday morning around 11.00 am, the silt of the drain was being removed from JCB and dumped on the roadside. During this, the accident happened due to the mistake of the driver. Police officers say that Mithlesh’s family lives in Dullapur village in Sitapur. He used to pull a rickshaw while staying in Krishna Nagar for a long time. The police have taken his body into custody and sent it for postmortem. The post-mortem of the dead body will be done when his relatives come to Delhi.
